Will Difficulty Changes Kill Fast Farming?
One of the best parts of Diablo 4 is the Diablo 4 items rush of efficiently farming dungeons, but with Season 8’s difficulty changes, will that still be possible? If enemies are tougher and fights last longer, farming routes will slow down significantly.
For those of us who love speedrunning and optimizing XP/hour, this could either be a fun new challenge or an annoying roadblock. If Blizzard doesn’t compensate with better loot drop rates, then it might not be worth pushing high-tier content as aggressively.
Any other speedrunners worried about these changes? Or do you think they’ll make farming feel more D4 items rewarding?
